dc.description.abstractIn this study, the analytical solutions of the Dirac equation have been presented for the Hulthén and Eckart potentials by applying an approximation to centrifugal-like term in the case of spin symmetry, ?(r)=C=constant, and pseudospin symmetry, ?(r)=C=constant, for any spin-orbit quantum number K. The energy eigenvalues and corresponding spinor wave functions are obtained in the closed-forms. © 2008 American Institute of Physics.en_US
dc.description.sponsorshipWe have presented the energy eigenvalues and the spinor wave functions of the Dirac equation for the Hulthen and Eckart potentials within the framework of AIM within the spin and pseudospin symmetry. The analytical formulae obtained may have interesting apphcations in nuclear physics and related areas as in Ref. [22]. Regarding the method presented in this study, it is a systematic one and it is very efficient and practical in solving the spin symmetric and pseudospin symmetric systems for any K state.
